Snapchat – Platform loved by teenagers and young adults – has been around for years. This is the ideal way to share the moment expiration with what you care about. In order for you to stay active and push you to use this service, Snapchat even offers lines as a motivator to communicate with your contacts every day. Hiked for some amazing mountains? Snap. First Snowfall this year? Snap. About shamelessly devouring this delicious cinnamon roll? Snap. Talking about shame, many users make their accounts when they are still rather young. And it is often accompanied by a relatively bad decision – like the username they choose. A few years later, they sometimes find themselves stuck with the @ Taylorshubby46290 username that might no longer represent their mental views or age. The good news is that this will soon no longer happen. Snapchat will eventually allow you to change your username from February 23.
For a long time, users must continue to use the username that they initially did when they first made their account. This will frustrate people – as the only way to get rid of the user’s name that is outdated or embarrassed through deleting the account and starting from the start. However, it means losing contact, lines, memories, trophies, and the rest of your data too.
Verge has reported that Snapchat will eventually allow iOS and Android users to change their usernames start next week. It should be noted, that you will be able to change it only once per year. In addition, you cannot set it to the username that has been used before. So once you change it, you will lose the previously used forever.
This feature is available for Australian users for some time. Fortunately, the whole world will be able to use it from February 23. To do this, go to Settings> User Name> Change the user name in Snapchat – after updating next week. There you will be able to set new and bury the old username where it is – in digital void.
