Samsung works on adding a thermometer to the upcoming Galaxy Watch5 series, according to ETNEWS. This will be useful for detecting the initial signs of Covid-19 (and other diseases that cause fever) and track ovulation cycles.
It won’t be the first watch with a thermometer on the board, but it only completes the watch with the sensor is not enough. Wrist skin temperatures are strongly influenced by external factors such as sunlight, which makes it get accurate readings complicated. This is why Samsung and other companies (like Apple) have delayed including sensors.
However, Korean publications reported that Samsung had solved the problem. In fact, the trafficking of body temperature can be something from the theme for Samsung Weotibles this year because the company has reportedly tested the galaxy bud prototype which can also measure your temperature. Prototypes use infrared sensors to track the temperature of your eardrum.
Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Series will be launched in August, claiming publications, a year after the JAM4 series was launched (it introduced an electrocardiogram sensor as an increase in its health tracking).
