Alia Bhatt once again triggered netizens who in turn brought attention to the upcoming Brahmastra film. Many were offended by the latest statement of Bollywood actress which caused the big Twitter trend ‘Brahmastra boycott’ and ‘Bollywood boycott’. Although, both films and actresses are not new in this regard. Alia is often targeted by Troll for various reasons. This time, reportedly, in an interview, Alia said that “If you don’t like me, don’t watch me”, which has triggered anger among netizens. This clip has been circulating on social media, with many Twitter users saying that they will boycott their upcoming films ‘Brahmastra’.

Other users wrote, “Inspired by Kareena Kapoor Khan, now Alia Bhatt said,” I can’t continue to defend myself verbally. Previously, Kareena Kapoor’s old interview appeared on social media before the release of the film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which made people angry. In the video, Kareena echoed the same sentiment as Alia and which caused the ‘boycott’ trend on Twitter, finally contributed to the poor performance of the film at the Box Office. The boycott trend has received mass momentum lately, with many actors and their films at the end of the recipient.
Speaking of ‘Brahmastra’, the film is scheduled to be screened in theaters on September 9. Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and South Actor Nagarjuna will also be seen in the leading role in the direction of Ayan Mukerji. The first film in the trilogy that will form the Bollywood cinematic universe itself, The Astraverse, Brahmastra takes five years to be produced. The film will be released in 5 Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
