Meta-owned message platform, WhatsApp now adds new features to iOS users that will allow people to hide their last status from certain contacts. The company recently began launching emoji reactions and reportedly worked to get new ways to chat and collaborate with the community.
According to Wabetainfo, functionality has now been found in the current version of Beta. This function will be available for those who have registered for the Beta program. Unlike the dependent end public manufacture by most users, the beta version generally contains many upcoming features that are still under development.
WhatsApp Working on Improved Privacy Options
Like status, the latest addition allows WhatsApp users to limit the last status that is visible to certain contacts exclusively. This option is hidden in the application privacy settings. WhatsApp currently experimented with new features, my contacts except. This allows users to turn off last visible to certain people. Users with the latest IOS beta can access this option by navigating to settings> Account> Privacy, according to the screenshot.
This feature is available with whatsapp iOS version of beta 22.9.0.70. Interested users can register on the Beta program, to become one of the first users to get directly with new turn off.At present, WhatsApp only provides three choices to display your last status. Three options include everyone, my contact and nothing. If you save the option for everyone, your latest appearance will be accessible to anyone. My contact will only reveal the last visible to them whose telephone number that you have saved in your contact book. No one hides the last one you see from everyone.
